Net Tangible Assets
Net Tangible Assets is effectively the net worth of a company. It is calculated as Total Assets – Liabilities – Intangible Assets. For example, company XYZ has $30M in cash, $10M in debt, $30M of Plant & Equipment, Real Estate assets of $5M, and $20M of ‘Good Will’ on its balance sheet related to the acquisition of a business. The NTA would be $55M.
