EV

(Enterprise Value)
The Enterprise Value is the market cap of a company net of their cash or debt. For example, company ABC has a Market Cap of $100M, and $20M in the bank. EV = MC – Cash, so its EV is $80M. Company XYZ has a Market Cap of $100M, and $20 in debt. EV = MC + Debt, so its EV is $120M.
